It's February 1st!
It's my birthday!
It's Monday!
It's 8:45am! I've got 15 minutes!
This is my thought process as I attempt to reassign a start date/time to my inevitably failing New Year's resolution. I seem to only hold true to those personal commitments for about 2 weeks. Well realistically it's like 5 days. Ok, if you want to be more specific I think about it for 5 days, but I actually act on it for about 2 of them. Then I use the next logical starting date to begin anew. So today I bring you my second-Tuesday-of-March resolution! It's spontaneous and I'm making it public, which gives me hope that it may last longer than a few days. It begins with the obvious - new blog design (or template because I really don't know how to "design" anything) with a pledge to post more often than quarterly. Additionally, I may post about my inadequate attempts at my real resolution, which is to a) register for the Nike Women's half marathon, an apparent feat in itself, then b) train, run, finish.
(Many thanks to all readers who endured the horrendous clown noses for an entire winter.)
oh my!
ReplyDeleteI JUST sent you an e-mail that said the same thing! I also need to find the time for better blogging to satisfy the closet writer in me!
And for the SF Nike Marathon...if I win the random drawing and don't want to do it...I'll let you know. It's one of the most beautiful courses ever!
Thanks for the update Jas...we love hearing from you!
