I am currently sitting at the Oakland airport awaiting my flight to my beloved hometown. I don’t really need a good reason to go home to Portland as the city is a good enough reason in itself. However, I not only have the pleasure of visiting one of my favorite cities EVER, but I get to go to my first geek conference to boot!
What?
Yes, that’s right. A geek conference. Some of you know that I refer to Sean’s web conventions with this moniker. You know, those big conferences where web peeps alike can converge and talk about, what else, but the webernet and technology!
So why am I drawn me to such an event? Well, I am very proud to say that Sean will be speaking at this particular geek event and will be representing his company, a top-rated design firm called Frog Design. People are actually paying to watch him speak! And I get to go for free!

ReplyDeleteIs THAT where you were during these last couple of classes we've had? Yes, I've noticed your absence amidst the nonstop chatter of our beloved classmates. You missed out on my group's presentation of MEO Jeopardy! And it was an awesome success: no one paying attention, nurse james 4B constantly yelling out answers at inappropriate times, and Laurent Corey and Mark in the back flipping through magazines. Yep...it was great. Anywho, your picture on here is way cute! You have to take me shopping and dress me up! Love your style. See you in class (one more week, hang in there)!!
